The first round of the Les Underwood Junior Cup is up next for the Woodford United first team in their second game under the lights this season. The cup is the county-wide cup competition run by the Northamptonshire FA and is seen as the counties most prestigious cup competition and one that I'm sure all of the teams would love to win.

The first team have been given a tough draw for their first round test where they will face Northampton Sileby Rangers who currently ply their trade in the Spartan South Midlands Football League Division 1 which puts them on Step 6 of the Football League ladder - a step above the travelling Woodford side.

The hosts are currently sitting in second place within the league after some good results. Having won six of their opening 9 games, drawing 2 and losing 1 against 11th place Raunds Town it won't be an easy game for the visitors who, to be fair, are on a good run of form themselves in the league.

The injury to Aiden Print leaves some rather large boots to fill; Jayden Buckmaster stepped after replacing the agile winger, it remains to be seen how manager Kev Bunting will look to line up tomorrow evening.
